Charity’s new space represents commitment to healing

The Gina Spence Programme has moved its head office to the Bermudiana Arcade in the heart of Hamilton with the help of renovations charity Habitat for Humanity of Bermuda.

Fresh stock for ReStore helps families in need

A furniture outlet has donated wares to a non-profit store whose proceeds go to the charity Habitat for Humanity Bermuda.

​

Island Trading Ltd said it had passed on more than $7,000 worth of premium outdoor furniture to ReStore, with items including teak chairs, settees, coffee tables, pillows and placemats.

Charity to cut the ribbon on new store this week

A popular art and furnishings shop that raises money for a housing renovations charity will welcome customers at its new location on Thursday.

Habitat for Humanity Bermuda has announced that ReStore will hold a grand reopening event this week at Grosvenor House — now renamed Habitat House — on King Street.

Golfers tee off to support housing renovation charity

Donor support leads to return of charity shop ReStore

A popular art and furnishings shop that raises money for a housing renovations charity is to reopen in a new location.

​

Sheelagh Cooper, the chairwoman of Habitat for Humanity of Bermuda, hopes ReStore can welcome new customers to its new spot on King Street next month thanks to the support of a generous supporter.

Housing charity celebrates a successful year

A charity that restores properties has reported a “bumper year” by way of generous corporate and community support, as well as the delivery of numerous projects.

​

Sheelagh Cooper, the chairwoman of Habitat for Humanity of Bermuda, said the organisation’s biggest project was the completion of the Residential Treatment Centre in Somerset, which was a partnership between St James Anglican Church and Habitat with the facility to be operated by the Bermuda Hospitals Board.
